ReadSquared Reading Program

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

This program is designed to help children read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits, build speech and language skills, and build social connections. For every one hundred books read, participants will receive a book to keep for their home collection. Once you've read 1,000 books, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share! Listening to a caregiver read counts as reading!

Younger Children Unearth a Story

This program is designed for children ages 0 to 6 to encourage life-long reading habits. For every 50 minutes read (up to 500 points) participants can pick out a prize from the library prize box. Once you've earned 500 points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

2026 Older Kids Unearth a Story

This program is designed for children ages 7 to 12 to encourage life-long reading habits. For every 100 minutes read (up to 1,000 points) participants can pick out a prize from the library prize box. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Teen Unearth a Story

This program is designed for 13- to 18-year-olds to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Adult Unearth a Story

This program is designed for adults to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points, you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!
